Current research interests:
My research examines how people affected by violence — armed conflict, physical and gender-based violence, interpersonal abuse and more— experience harm through technologically mediated and contextual risks. I use my ethnographic toolkit to convey deep qualitative insights to computer science research in the subdomains of security and privacy (S&P) , human computer interaction (HCI) and artificial intelligence (AI) safety.
